Where You Can Order Steak Online

When looking for the best T-bone steak, if you order your beef on the internet it will save you time instead of having to browse your grocery store.

Online stores offer 100% guarantee on their beef and make sure that it is delivered fresh. The price is worth it, and often times they send free recipes with your order.

To begin shopping for steak online, try a typing “prime grade beef” or “premium hand cut steaks” into a search engine. You can comparison shop by looking at each company’s product and prices.

When you compare the costs, dont forget the shipping, but also look at the grade of meat and the cut. A cheaper steak costs less money for a reason, it is either not as fresh, is of lower quality or it was probably frozen once.

There are three types of steak. Located on the upper back are the ribs, and on the mid-back are the short loin and loin. Rib-eye, rib roast, and back ribs are all located on the rib area. This is the least tender area. From the short loin come the T-bone, top loin, tenderloin and porterhouse cuts.

The sirloin and top sirloin steaks come from the sirloin section of the animal. Tougher cuts of meat from that section are chuck, round, and flank. In the T-bone area is where strip steaks like the New York Steak are found.

The tenderest cuts of beef is called the tenderloin, filet mignon, chateaubriand and tournedos. Unfortunately, even though they are tender, they also lack flavour. If you want more flavour, choose a rib-eye or rib steak, which are tougher but taste better. To judge the degree of flavour, look for small streaks of fat marbled through the steak.

The more marbling, the more flavor, however this means less tenderness. The steak is one that is a balance of the two. Top loin and sirloin are more flavorful than tenderloin but not quite as tender. You do not need to marinate these cuts or to overcook them more than medium rare.
